China Merchants Port names Xu Song as new CEO

China Merchants Port has announced the appointment of new CEO Xu Song who previously held several senior positions in the company.

Xu was the Director, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of China Merchants Port Group. He also served as a director of Liaoning Port Company.

Meanwhile, Lu Yongxin has been appointed as the new chief operating officer and general manager, who served as deputy general manager of the company and a director of various subsidiaries of the company.

The new appointments take effect from July.
