China’s west international land-sea trade corridor destination has grown to encompass 264 ports around the world.

In the first quarter of 2021, the destinations of China’s new international land-sea trade corridor has been expanded to 264 ports in 96 countries, according to New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Logistics and Operation Coordination Center.

Sea to rail train volume (departing from Chongqing) at China’s west international land-sea trade corridor was 393 in Q1, increased 133% year-on-year, transporting 19,588 teu containers, an increase of 130%, while the cargo value was CNY2.43bn, an increase of 117%.

The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Logistics and Operation Coordination Center, established in Chongqing in 2020, is engaged in the new international land-sea trade corridor development and communications with domestic and international partners.
