Cosco Group and China Merchants Group on Sunday inked a strategic cooperation framework to jointly grow their shipping and port businesses, reports said.

The two state-owned corporations said the cooperation will be a “win-win” situation for sustainable and long term growth of their core businesses, mainly in shipping, port and logistics.

The areas of collaboration include strengthening the shipping fleet, port cargo activities, financial investments, shipping services and maritime education.
