"DP World Callao has reached more than 1.5m [teu] for the first time in the history of the port," the executive posted on the social network.

The other group companies in Peru performed well: the Paita terminal, which likewise exceeded the volume recorded in 2020, and DP World Logistics, that registered record activity, according to Gauthier.

DP World Callao operates the South Pier of the main Peruvian port, where it is developing a $350m expansion project. The initiative, called "Bicentennial Pier”, aims at increasing annual transfer capacity to 1.9m teu.
