ICTSI’s TecPlata achieved a milestone with its handling of the first carbon-neutral container in Argentina.

Through the collaboration with Petrocuyo, LOGIN, and Carbon+, TecPlata successfully implemented practices that prioritise environmental responsibility while ensuring operational efficiency.

As the first Argentine port to achieve carbon neutrality, TecPlata is committed to driving sustainable practices in the logistics sector and generating a meaningful impact on the environment. 

TecPlata is Argentina’s most modern container terminal with an initial capacity of 450,000 teu capacity, and capable of being extended of up to 1 million teu in the second phase.

In 2012 she was awarded the Order of Merit (Knight grade) by the French Government for her services to international journalism and in 2021 the upgrade to Chevalier grade.
