Jieyang port to develop new terminals

Guangzhou Port Group and Guangdong’s Jiejiang Municipal government signed port cooperation agreement to jointly develop terminal project at Jieyang port.

According to the agreement, Guangzhou Port Group, Guangdong’s Jiejiang Municipal government and CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering will jointly fund and construct the public terminal at Huilai coastal port area, Jieyang port, including the first phase project of petrochemical terminal, general cargo terminal and LPG berth.

Additionally, the three parties will promote local inland river port resources integration and improve container and bulk cargo handling capacity.

The project will be mainly service for oil products, petrochemical products, LNG, LPG and other energy cargos, which will be developed as a major energy storage and transportation base in Pearl river delta region.
