MXO has added a second dedicated bunker barge, the 7,535 dwt Stephanie, to provide both heavy fuel oil and marine gas oil locations within the Port of Sohar and surrounding anchorages.

“Developing our physical infrastructure means that we have more control over the end-to-end bunkering supply chain from order through to final delivery,” said Stephen Robinson, md of MXO.

“This enables us to ensure the quality and quantity of products, the reliability of supply, as well as minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiencies within the bunkering process.”

MXO is a joint venture between Matrix Marine Holding from Germany, and Oman Oil Marketing Company, based in Oman.
