The first vessel on the new ASE service departed DaChan Bay on 24 September morning for Brazil and Argentina.
DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said: “ZIM has been our long-term customer and we are glad to work with them on the ASE service to introduce additional capacity to meet shippers’ needs.”
The ASE service calls DaChan Bay- Santos - Itapoa - Buenos Aires - DaChan Bay, and the transit time to Santos is 32 days, to Itapoa 34 days, and to Buenos Aires 35 days.
