New ZIM South America service departs DaChan Bay

DaChan Bay Terminals in South China saw its first call by a new ZIM service connecting to South America.

The first vessel on the new ASE service departed DaChan Bay on 24 September morning for Brazil and Argentina.

DaChan Bay Terminals Managing Director Brian Yeung said: “ZIM has been our long-term customer and we are glad to work with them on the ASE service to introduce additional capacity to meet shippers’ needs.” 

The ASE service calls DaChan Bay- Santos - Itapoa - Buenos Aires - DaChan Bay, and the transit time to Santos is 32 days, to Itapoa 34 days, and to Buenos Aires 35 days.
