The trial sees the opening of the “Golden Channel” of crude oil industry chain from the Yellow Sea to the Bohai Bay.
It is the key project for the transformation of old and new energy sectors in Shandong province, as well as a key construction project of Qingdao Port International.
The third phase project is divided into two parts: the Dongwei Phase III and the Dongwei Phase III East Line, which was fully completed in December 2019 with a planned annual output capacity of 10m tons.
The completion of the Phase III oil pipeline project realizes the door-to-door transportation of crude oil from terminals to factories, helps refining enterprises in Shandong to save the logistics and transportation costs.
The project could further facilitate the integration of the group and refining enterprises in Shandong province and will lay a solid foundation for the transformation and upgrade of the liquid bulk handling services of the group, said Qingdao Port International.
