The coastal city of Lima – a key maritime hub of Latin America – will play host to the region’s leading event for the ports and terminal industry this coming October, in association with the Peru Port Authority.

TOC Americas takes place from 27-29 October for 3 days dedicated to the needs of the professionals that own, move and handle containerised cargo, with topics including supply chain disruption protecting your assets and accelerating your digitalisation plans at the top of a packed agenda.

With investment in Peru’s ports and terminals reaching an all-time high in 2019, it is hoped that the upgrades to the country’s logistics infrastructure will provide a much-needed improvement to its core sectors including mining and agribulk-export, boosting the country’s capacity and competitiveness.

This provides the perfect backdrop for an event that will be bringing together 1000+ of the region’s container supply chain key players, with 45%+ of those representing C-level, enabling you to progress your business aims across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Including the ever-popular and strategically-led Container Supply Chain Conference, as well as the terminal operations-focused and free-to-attend TECH TOC and Dry Bulk Conferences, TOC Americas presents numerous in-depth training sessions, networking opportunities and the chance to interact with a score of global and regional experts.

"The TOC Americas conference is always a good showcase of the state of the industry and the application of the emerging technologies that drive it. If your interest is to stay ahead of the game, this is the conference to attend."

A major focus of the event will be 12 core themes at the heart of the region’s industry, all aiming to give attendees the tools they need to unleash the power of the new digital container supply chain:

Attendees can also access a truly world-class exhibition – the region’s premier port technology showcase that is free-to-attend and hosts 80+ of the industry’s biggest names, from manufacturers of high-quality port equipment and technology to software specialists and legal consultants.  You could literally conduct a year’s worth of business within the space of just 3 days, saving time and money.

"A great opportunity for networking with different companies and updating on the latest trends in the maritime and port sector. Definitely very good and timely focus on innovation and technology, facing the challenges of the 4.0 revolution"

Paul Holloway, Event Director said: "2020 has already proved to be an extraordinary year and ports and terminals of the Americas I am certain will be looking to finish the second half of the year strongly.  With many impressive examples of the industry battling the effects of Covid-19 already, these as well as the rapid advancement of digitalisation are now all coming to the fore.

He continued: "TOC therefore is delighted to be coming back to Lima to bring this signature event to one of the region’s leading maritime hubs that is rapidly becoming a magnet for the container supply chain due to the huge recent investments in the country’s logistics infrastructure.”

"While the topic of our conference is serious, we guarantee that the event will also be fun."
