TOC Europe will be back in 2021

TOC Europe back in 2021.png

TOC Europe was postponed earlier this year due to the coronavirus crisis but dates have now been set for next year’s event – 8-10 June 2021 in Rotterdam.

“Extraordinary times required extraordinary measures, and while we were saddened to take this action, we knew it was the right decision,” said Paul Holloway, Event Director at TOC.  Since the postponement, TOC along with the industry, has moved full steam into the digital space.  To date two well-attended webinars have taken place and our next – the TOC Leaders’ Debate – is running next week on 24th June (You can register here).

Big plans set for 2021

The AGM for port and terminal professionals is now looking to the future, and is excited at the prospect of bringing together the container supply chain once again, and more so than ever before in our 40+ year history.

TOC Europe 2021 will be packed with new content focusing on digitalisation with sessions coming on line on topics such as AI, IoT, smart, blockchain and deep TECH. We at TOC are planning a truly dynamic return in 2021.

Currently we are working closely with the Port of Rotterdam on delivering an unforgettable event experience in 2021, which will act as a central point for senior international decision-makers representing port authorities, terminals and the wider container supply chain to meet, learn and do business.

TOC Europe’s conference sessions in 2021 will all be delivered through our new innovative ‘Bitesize agenda’ – covering 12 core themes, allowing attendees to mix and match individual sessions using our new online app to create a personalised agenda, maximising precious time on site and adding even more value to their visit.

With an unmatched 100+ hours of FREE sessions to take advantage of, conference content will include the strategically-focused Container Supply Chain (CSC) Conference, as well as the ever-popular TECH TOC & Bulk Logistics events – all taking place on the show floor across 4 theatres.

CALLING ALL START-UPS!

Yet another new feature of TOC Events in 2021 will be a focus on disruptive technology. Working with our industry leading partners, we will endeavour to showcase the latest cutting-edge solutions being designed and created by SME businesses, start-ups and scale-ups.  Watch out for a brand new, dedicated section of the event that will provide companies trying to enter the maritime space a platform to communicate with digital leads from some of the more well-known industry thought leaders.

An expanded exhibition…

As we enter an era of unprecedented change and opportunity, with digitalisation now certain to be a game-changer for container shipping, 2021’s show floor will embrace all corners of the industry, from the big name players to more niche suppliers of advanced technologies including driverless terminal operations, IT and process automation solutions, cranes and container handling equipment, training products and services, port planning, design and construction.

185 suppliers have already confirmed their attendance, including ABB, AIDRIVERS, BiNY, Bromma, Cargotec, CM Labs, Conductix-Wampfler, Continental Tyres, DG WORLD, Fogmaker, FrigorTec, Gaussin, Globalsim, GullsEye, Identec Solutions, IFM, IGUS, Inform, Konecranes, Künz, Lase, Liebheer, Moffatt & Nichol, Nokia, Pintsch Bubenzer, Portchain, Powertec, Q Terminals, SANY, Siemens, Stinis, TBA, TEC Container, Terberg, TMEIC, TT Club, UEBEX, Vahle, ZPMC (See full list here)

Last week the TOC team were also delighted to see that our friends at Kalmar posted on what would have been Day 1 of TOC Europe 2020, their own heart-warming TOC Europe video as a gesture of their continuous support of TOC Europe throughout the years.

With 4000+ attendees set to visit in 2021 and eager to get their port operations back on track and more resilient than ever following the coronavirus crisis, now is the perfect time to enquire about a position within the industry’s largest and most well-attended port technology exhibition.
