Yunfu joins Greater Bay Area combined ports

Yunfu new port in Guangdong has become the latest member of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay rea combined port cluster.

The combined port project for Shenzhen Shekou - Yunfu new port has officially launched and the new port of Yunfu will start to provide combined shipping services with other major ports in Greater Bay Area.

Yunfu new port, located at Xi river, is close to Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Currently the port has seven 3,000 tonnes-class berths, with an annual handling capacity of 20m tons. 

Yunfu new port posted a cargo throughput of 6.69m tons and a container volume of 210,000 teu in 2011. 

In November 2020, Greater Bay Area combined port cluster launched which had developed over ten services providing a fast and efficient logistics solution for Greater Bay area.
