ZIM launching ro-ro service from Xiamen port

ZIM is opening up a new ro-ro service from Xiamen port in South China to Mediterranean region.

A total of 3,400 units of BYD-made electric vehicles loaded on ZIM’s vessel from Xiaomo international logistics in the port of Xiaman bound for Mediterranean ports. 

ZIM currently operates sixteen modern ro-ro vessels providing transportation services from Asia to Red Sea, Mediterranean area, Europe, North America, Central and South America and other regions, which is offering a solid transport support for Shenzhen and Shantou special cooperated zone. 

“The maiden voyage for Xiaomo-Mediterranean ro-ro service is bringing more overseas collaboration opportunities for Shenzhen and Shantou special cooperated zone. ZIM will continue to provide fast and efficient, globalised and green logistics solutions for China’s new energy automobile manufacturing industry,” commented ZIM China.
