Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) has shipped the first batch of four ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and two rail-mounted gantry (RMG) cranes for Israel Haifa Automatic Terminal to Haifa Port.

Haifa Port, the largest port in Israel, is a symbolic project along the Belt and Road Initiative. It will come under commercial operation of China’s Shanghai International Port Group in 2021.

ZPMC will provide all automatic equipment for the terminal, including eight STS and 22 RMG cranes.

Last month, ZPMC delivered one STS crane to Australia Fremantle Terminal and two lower beam STS cranes to Port of Melbourne ESD Terminal of Australia Patrick Group.
