The port posted a container volume of 1.338m teu in July, a growth rate of 27.3% year-on-year.

During the first seven months, Yantian port opened up 14 new shipping services. Currently, the port operates over 100 services, connecting with America, Europe, Southeast Asia and other major trading channels.

With the expansion of combined ports operation for the Greater Bay area and the sea-rail transportation, regional water-to-water and water-to-railway logistics have been strengthened via the hub port of Yantian.

Yantian port is expecting to have a peak season in August and September.
