Chinese container logistics service provider, Zhonggu Logistics, has inked strategic cooperation agreement with Fujian Port Group to enhance shipping business development in Southeast China.

According to the agreement, the two parties will deepen collaboration on port and shipping business, and jointly develop more shipping services in the Southeast China region.

Zhonggu Logistics handled 1.83m teu containers at Fujian’s Xiamen port last year, and is planning to develop more bulk-to-container and land-to-waterway services this year.

In addition, Zhonggu will expand domestic and foreign trading network at Xiamen port and deploy new shipping capacity to improve logistics services for Belt and Road Initiatives.

At the beginning of 2023, Zhonggu Nanning, the largest inland containership operated by Zhonggu Logistics, set sail from Xiamen port.
