Seatrade Maritime Awards Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa opens entries across 21 shipping and maritime categories

Dubai – 15th April 2019 – Entries have now officially opened for the 16th edition of the prestigious Seatrade Maritime Awards, which will mark the start of 2019’s UAE Maritime Week.

Taking place on the 22nd September 2019 in Dubai – last week announced as the Middle East’s top maritime capital according to a report commissioned by Menon Economics and DNV GL, this year’s ceremony will be hosted at the Madinat Jumeirah and will include a networking reception and lavish dinner.

Judged by an expert panel of industry thought-leaders, these Awards give companies the chance to tell their success stories to a global audience, regardless of size, through the MEISA region’s most prestigious maritime and shipping honours programme.

This year’s Seatrade Maritime Awards will feature twenty one awards, including;

Entering to win a Seatrade Maritime Award enables companies to share their success: some of last year’s stories included that of Dr Noura Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer at Maqta Gateway LLC who won the new Integration of Women in the Maritime Sector Award and H.E. Nominations for the Seatrade Maritime Awards will close on Thursday 13th June. The shortlist will be announced in August and the winners will then be revealed at the Seatrade Maritime Awards ceremony on the evening of Sunday 22nd September at Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah Hotel.  (Dress code: Black Tie or National Dress).
