The nine lifeboats and corresponding LA 1200 SU davit systems will be installed on Johan Sverdrup’s living quarters platform. Developed and built in Norway, the 70-person FF1200 lifeboat is the first to fulfil DNV 406 safety regulations for the Norwegian continental shelf.

"The Johan Sverdrup delivery has been one of the few big contracts for new oil and gas developments in Norway, for which we have been able to compete lately, and we have been through an extremely tough and demanding tender process, characterised by a sharp focus on costs and technical solutions,” said ceo Styrk Bekkenes.1200025279.jpg
