Shipowners’ major concerns over the 2020 sulphur cap compliance

We asked shipowners at GST & Shipping2030 about the challenges they foresee when it comes to 2020 compliance. The issue of enforcement, scrubbers’ impact on marine life, and fuel tank cleaning was mentioned, but overall, the biggest concern remains to be the uncertainty of what fuels will be available in 2020 for shipowners and for how much.
