Bumi Armada said in a stock market announcement that Murdoch, who was appointed cfo in November 2013, is stepping down to pursue personal goals and will be taken over by Pierre Savy, who has been nominated as the acting cfo. Murdoch’s last day with the company is on 17 November.

Bumi Armada had just appointed Leon Harland as the new ceo in May, after he took over from Chan Chee Beng, who served as acting ceo after the shock departure of long-time former ceo Hassan Basma in end-2014.
