China Maritime Safety Administration names new Director

China Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) announced that, Cao De Sheng, has been appointed as the Director of Maritime Safety Administration.

Cao, born in 1963, graduated from Dalian Maritime University. He has held different roles in various maritime authorities including Director of China Transport Telecommunications and Information Center, Deputy Director of MSA, Deputy Director of Waterway Transportation Bureau of Ministry of Transport, and Deputy Director of Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration.

The former director of MSA, Xu Ru Qing, has been moved to another position.
