Höegh contracts Wallem to manage nine car carriers

Wallem Ship Management has been contracted to provide technical and crew management for nine Höegh Autoliners car carriers.

The deal will see Wallem add the nine pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs) to its Singapore-managed fleet, bringing it to a total of 22 vessels. “Höegh is such an extremely well-known and reputable ship owner in Europe and Asia, and we are very proud to efficiently and safely manage their ships,” said Wallem managing director Ray Mc Namara.

“The signing of the ship management contract is an important occasion for Wallem and by delivering reliable services from Hong Kong, Singapore and Hamburg, we can continue to attract reputable shipowners.”
