Wilhelmsen Ship Management inks deal to manage new FSRU

Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) has secured the management of a newbuild FSRU named Turquoise from its owner Pardus Energy, a new entrant in the FSRU market.

The FSRU Turquoise is a 170,000-cbm vessel built at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea.

“We are extremely excited to be selected as the manager for this FSRU. This win further solidifies our position in the gas market and we expect further growth driven by the positive sentiment in this segment,” said Carl Schou, ceo and president of WSM.

WSM has been managing gas vessels for 25 years, and provides technical and crew management services for various vessel segments.
