ABB and NAPA cooperate for vessel advisory solutions

ABB and NAPA have signed a cooperative agreement to come up with a complete advisory solution devised to optimise ship efficiency.

Power and automation technology group ABB and software solutions for ship design and operation NAPA will collaborate to offer the NAPA Loading Computer and the electronic NAPA Logbook.

The products will be offered under ABB's Vessel Information and Control (VICO) portfolio, as part of a complete vessel advisory solutions.

“The integrated approach has been devised to optimise vessel performance, enhance energy efficiency, improve onboard equipment reliability and availability, and promote operational safety,” ABB said in a statement.
