Alfa Laval to unveil its latest scrubber system

Alfa Laval will be exhibiting its soon be launched PureSOx 2.0 scrubber system at SMM.

The PureSOx scrubber was launched in 2012 allowing shipowners to meet sulphur limits while still using HFO bunker fuel. To unveiled at SMM the PureSOx 2.0 system is more compact offers new options with increased flexibility.

“With SOx limits just around the corner in 2015, Alfa Laval is proud to be presenting an even more competitive PureSOx scrubber at this year’s SMM,” said Peter Leifland, president of Alfa Laval’s Marine & Diesel Division.

It is the latest addition to the Pure Thinking concept and range of products introduced in 2004.
