Becker Marine Systems expands in Japan with Kobe office

German propeller manufacturer Becker Marine Systems is opening an office in Kobe as it expands in the Japanese market.

Becker Marine is showcasing its products at Sea Japan 2016 in Tokyo along with Japanese partner Nakashima Propeller.

Commenting on its expansion in the Japanese market said Henning Kuhlmann, md of Becker Marine Systems said: “We have been able to establish ourselves on the Japanese market in the past few years.

“We now want to adapt ourselves more to the special market in Japan and continue to increase the level of awareness in the region.”

Becker Marine Systems has recently won orders for Becker Twisted Rudders by Imabari Shipbuilding and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as well as a King Support Rudder by Japan Marine United.
