Bunker One opens in Germany, to supply 0.5% fuels from mid-2019

Bunker One, the physical fuel supply arm of Bunker Holding Group, has expanded into Germany to service all ports at the German North Sea and Baltic Sea regions with bases in Rostock, Kiel and Hamburg.

The new entity Bunker One (Germany) is offering a range products including high sulphur fuels, marine gas oil and marine diesel oil. From mid-2019, the physical operation will offer 0.5% low sulphur fuels.

“With our new presence in Germany we will be able to benefit both from a great infrastructure, but also from our strong and well-proved Bunker One business model,” said Carsten Klausen, managing director of Bunker One (Germany).

The fuel products are delivered by truck, ex-pipe and by barge. The business entity will operate storage facilities in several relevant locations in Germany.
