China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group sets up marine unit

China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group has established China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Jiangsu Marine (Branch) to run marine-related business.

The newly established branch company will be responsible for the construction, operation and management of ships.

At the same time, the company has signed a contract with China Merchants Industry Holdings for the construction of a 2,200-tonne crane vessel.

“The crane vessel will become a key asset of the group. We are looking for more cooperation opportunities in each party's niches,” said Ji Zunzhong, general manager of China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group.
