ClassNK said the opening of the Bahrain office will improve the organisation’s efficiency of its ship surveys in the Persian Gulf region.

Bahrain, an island nation in the Persian Gulf, is home to the Middle East’s main ship repair yard. In addition, Khalifa bin Salman Port (KBSP), which opened in 2009, is becoming a major regional transhipment center.

“ClassNK will continue to expand its worldwide survey office network in order to meet its clients’ requests and provide timely and high quality services,” ClassNK said.
