CSAV to launch new transatlantic service

Chile’s Compania Sudamericana de Vapores (CSAV)  Group  has announced the launch of a second weekly service from North Europe to the East Coast of North America and Gulf of Mexico, expanding coverage on the transatlantic trade.

The second SAMEX service is weekly deploying 5 x 3200 teu vessels on the following port rotation:  Antwerp - Bremerhaven - Southampton - Charleston - Port Everglades - Houston - Savannah - Norfolk - Antwerp.

The service will start on 12 June with the first sailing of he Yorktown Express from Antwerp.“

We trust this extended coverage; adding direct calls at Southampton, Savannah and Norfolk will provide further opportunities for all our valued customers,”  said a statement from CSAV.
