Daniamant, demonstrates tech offerings at Marintec

Following the acquisition of Uni-Safe Electronics, Daniamant, will be exhibiting a brace of new products at stand N1D61-2, Marintec 2013, as well as some tried and tested products.

One of these latter offerings is the BNWAS (Bridge Navigation Watch Alarm System) BW-800 system, developed to monitor bridge activity and ensure that the officer on deck is fully composmentis throughout his watch, in order to protect against easily avoidable maritime accidents. The BW-800, type-approved by Wheel Mark, has a solid history in the shipping market, with over 3,500 worldwide sales to date.
 
Meanwhile, Daniamant will be demonstrating its newest Salinometers for measuring the salinity in the Ballast Water Tanks, as part of the Ballast Water Treatment process. The SL8005 and the SL8040, which will replace the older SL6000 and SL6005 models. The new sensor for the system, a 5-wire auto-referenced electrode with built in temperature-compensation is type approved by DNV.
