Finalists announced for Seatrade Maritime Awards International – co-organised by SIPG

Despite a challenging year for the industry, judges of the new Seatrade Maritime Awards International have agreed that entries for these globally recognised awards have been excellent and that today’s finalists' announcement took several hours of deliberation from the independent panels.

Chris Morley, Event Director, Seatrade Maritime, said: “Seatrade has held nearly 100 awards schemes across its maritime and cruise brands spanning three decades, yet 2020 has stood out for many reasons – not least as an unprecedented year for the industry, but also for the strength and resilience of companies  shown in the entries from across the globe.”

Further awards for Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award; Global Personality Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced on the night and the ceremony will also feature the Special Contribution Awards to Shanghai International Shipping Centre presented by co-organisers SIPG.

Co-organised by Seatrade, part of Informa Markets Maritime and Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG), the Seatrade Maritime Awards International will now culminate in a physical awards ceremony taking place on November 6, 2020 in Shanghai, China and hundreds of international guests taking part online.
