Globus Maritime chief resigns

Globus Maritime president and ceo Georgios K. Karageorgiou has resigned, with the company’s chairman taking over.

Globus said Karageorgiou had resigned from the top job for personal reasons. He was also interim cfo and a director of the company. Taking over as president, ceo and cfo is chairman Athanasios Feidakis, son of Globus founder Georgios Feidakis. 

Georgios Feidakis commented: “We thank Mr. Karageorgiou for his long service to the company and we wish him every success in his future endeavors.   The board and I have worked closely with George since company’s inception in 2006 and we are grateful for his contribution over the past 9 years.”
