Maersk Supply Services wins Chevron contract in West Australia
Maersk Supply Services has clinched a long-term contract for two anchor handlers to support the Chevron- operated Gorgon Stage Two drilling programme.
The contract with Chevron Australia will see the vessels Maersk Mariner and Maersk Master provide towing, anchor handling, supply, and Work ROV services for the programme in the Northwest Shelf of Western Australia.
The contract starts in the second quarter this year. Mearsk Supply Services did not reveal the duration or value of the contract.

“We are proud to have the opportunity to utilise the advanced capabilities of these new vessels to deliver a superior service and contribute to the offshore development of this important project for the region,” said David Lofthouse, head of commercial Asia Pacific, Maersk Supply Service.
The vessels will operated by local crews with support Maersk Supply Service in Perth.
