Norsafe range of rescue craft on display
Exhibiting in partnership with its Greek agent Intra Mare, Norwegian lifeboat manufacturer Norsafe and its Greek subsidiary Norsafe Watercraft Hellas will be showing a mix of rescue boats, conventional lifeboats and smaller free-fall models on Stand 3.420.
The company said that due to market requests, it has significantly improved release gear for lifeboats with the updated TOR MKII on-load release hook.
Another new design is the GES 21, a totally enclosed lifeboat taking up to 26 people that is suitable for all ships that use free-fall lifeboats including LNG, chemical and dry bulk vessels. The boat can be launched from a hydraulic ramp, which ensures it enters the water at a safe distance from the ship.
To find out more about these and other products visitors are invited to a Norsafe/Intra Mare cocktail party accompanied by jazz music on Thursday 9 June at 3-30pm.
