SMM 2016 to have dedicated alternative marine propulsion hall

As the shipping explores green fueling options SMM 2016 will have an entire hall dedicated to alternative marine propulsion.

Hall A5 at the exhibition in Hamburg, in September next year, will cover all aspects of LNG as a marine fuel from shipyards and supplier alike. For the likes of port authorities looking at LNG bunkering, they will be able to find partners for LNG infrastructure SMM said.

The hall will also showcase other alternative marine fuels such as methanol, fuel cells, and hybrids and dual-fuel systems.

SMM 2016 will be held from the 6 – 9 September in Hamburg.
