Swissco secures charter for four mobile offshore drilling units

Singapore’s Swissco Holdings has secured charter contracts worth approximately $94.8m in total to provide four mobile offshore drilling units to an oil major in Latin America.

The charter contracts, which will last for up to two years, were made through Scott and English Energy, which is a subsidiary of Swissco.

The mobile offshore drilling units will be used by an oil major to support its oil and gas activities in Latin America, according to Swissco.

Swissco recently completed the acquisition of Scott and English Energy, which owns and charters mobile offshore drilling units and service rigs.
