Transas is opening a new office in Mumbai, India. By establishing the presence on the ground, Transas will be able to more effectively market its capabilities and target the growing opportunities in this strategically important region.

By strengthening the presence in India, Transas will also expand into new market segments, like aviation, defence and edutainment. Transas India will continue to closely cooperate with the Company’s long-term Partner in the marine market Elcome Marine Services Pvt. Ltd.

Transas is proud to announce Mr. Shailendra Shukla as a new Managing Director of Transas India. Mr. Shukla has been working in Transas since 2007 as a Managing Director of the company’s office in Dubai, UAE. Transas has been present in India for a number of years and has carried out numerous successful projects in this region. Under the leadership of Mr. Shukla, Transas India will deliver advanced and high-value solutions and provide local support to our existing customers.

Transas India will report directly to Transas Marine International headquarters located in Gothenburg, Sweden, and its Managing Director Mr. Ralf Lehnert.
