Vard firms largest ever OCV with Solstad
Vard has confirmed a contract for the largest single vessel order in the firm's history, an offshore construction vessel (OCV) for Solstad Offshore.

The contract follows the announcement of a letter of intent for the vessel in March 2014.
Vard Design in Ålesund developed the vessel, which is of the Vard 3 19 design. The hull we be built at the Romanian Vard Tulcea yard, with outfitting at Vard Brattvag in Norway ahead of delivery in Q2 2016.
