ZIM has announced that it will be cooperating with the G6 alliance on its Asia to North American West Coast services from the middle of this month.

The expanded new service offering from the Israeli line will include a third loop covering more ports more frequently from the US and Canada to Asia.

The three North Pacific loops will be: NP1: Singapore - Laem Chabang - Da Chan Bay - Hong Kong – Yantian – Vancouver – Tacoma – Seattle – Pusan - Kaohsiung
NP2: Hong Kong – Yantian –Kaohsiung – Shanghai – Pusan – Tacoma – Seattle – Vancouver – Yokohama – Pusan - Kwangyang
NP3: Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai – Pusan – Vancouver – Tacoma – Vancouver – Tokyo – Nagoya - Kobe

Last month the US Federal Maritime Commission approved the expansion of the G6 alliance to cover all major East-West trades. G6 is a collation of member lines APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
