Goltens’ Tom Boyle and Braemar’s Graham Ellis were announced as winners of the Drydocks World and Maritime World’s (DDWMW) corporate golf day pairs’ tournament, with HMD’s Rob Kwan and Emirates Group’s Thierry Dongier runners up.

Held at the Al Badia golf course, the winners of the DDWMW tournament were presented with trophies, while special prizes were awarded the winners of the Longest drive competition Tatsuya Murakami from Saifee Nobu Marine and Aseem Aziz from Petrofac, as well as YK Kim from ABS who won the Nearest to the Pin award.

“We are grateful to all our esteemed clients & stakeholders for their support and continued faith in our services and capabilities,” said Ali AlSuwaidi, vp of business development, commercial and project management at DDWMW. “The golf day was very successful. We have all found it extremely valuable to spend relaxed time with various partners, all of who are critically important to our business. The day was a most enjoyable and productive way to discuss business and current issues across the industry.”

Citing its sponsorship of the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters and the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, the company wrote in a statement: “Golf embodies the strong values embraced by DDWMW, anchored in competition, performance, fair play, openness, diversity and the pleasures of participating.”
