China Merchants Energy Shipping orders four multi-purpose vessels at Jinling

China Merchants Energy Shipping and China Merchants Industry Holdings have signed an official contract for the construction of four 62,000 dwt multi-purpose vessels.

The two parties had reached an agreement on the order in March this year.

The four vessels will be built by China Merchants’ Jinling shipyard and delivered to Hong Kong Ming Wah Shipping.

Ming Wah Shipping is the bulk carrier operation arm of China Merchants Energy Shipping. Last year, China Merchants Energy Shipping consolidated its bulk cargo shipping business and further enhanced the competitiveness of the brand Ming Wah.
