Zhang, born in 1962, had taken several positions in CSSC and its subsidiaries.
Earlier this month, CSSC Holdings issued notice that Lei Fanpei will no longer serve as the chairman of the company.
CSSC Holdings, formerly known as Hudong Heavy Industry, restructured in 2007 and then rebranded to CSSC Holdings. CSSC is the controlling shareholder of the company.
