LR appoints Mark Darley as coo of marine & offshore

Darley, who is currently LR’s president for M&O in the North Asia region, will be taking on the coo role globally while remaining based in Shanghai.

“In his new role of coo, Mark will have global responsibility for enhancing the operational and financial performance of M&O and continuing to improve our customer experience and ways of working,” said LR Marine and Offshore director Nick Brown.

“He will work closely with the M&O leadership team to help turn our strategy into delivery outcomes and foster greater collaboration, consistency and best practice across the M&O business.”

Darley will be fulfilling the role of North Asia president until a replacement, which LR aims to shortly recruit, takes over.

“I am delighted to have been appointed Marine & Offshore COO – a role that has been reinstated to allow the M&O leadership team to focus on the longer-term strategic transformation of our industry, accelerating the delivery of LR’s digital and decarbonisation strategies and driving sustainable growth in our focus segments,” said Darley.
