The company said that affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, many foreign customers are skeptical about the production and delivery capacity of CIMC SOE in the face of flight cancellation, temporary suspension of visa application and inability to hold face-to-face talks.
However, the company maintained active communication with customers through teleconferences and other means and obtained two LNG tank orders in succession.
These two orders have further stabilised CIMC SOE's position in the LNG tank market.
One of the two LNG tank orders has enabled CIMC SOE to get new customers and the other has enabled the company to enter the emerging market for the fuel tanks of passenger vessel.
