The newbuild project includes one plus one 12,000dwt/11,700cu m bitumen/product oil tankers, designed for bitumen transportation connecting ports in the Great Lakes and Canada’s east coast.
The tankers are designed by FKAB, with overall length of 140 metres and width of 23.75 metres, will be classified by BV classification and flying the Canadian flag.
Wuhu Shipyard said that the order shows it had been widely recognized by owners for high-tech liquid cargo ship construction, and pledged to continue to develop and promote its ability to construct this type of ship.
