Zhujiang Shipping to build 50 small size LNG-powered bulk carriers

Zhujiang Shipping is calling for bids to design and build fifty 2,000 dwt and 3,000 dwt LNG powered bulk carriers.

According to the bidding document, Zhujiang Shipping plans to invest up to CNY660m in building twenty-five LNG-powered bulk carriers of 2,000 dwt and 3,000 dwt respectively.

The first vessel is expected to start construction in May 2021 and the last vessel and be delivered before the end of March 2022.

The tender deadline is 2 March.

Zhujiang Shipping, subsidiary of Guangdong Provincial Navigation Group, is engaged in dry bulk cargo transportation for domestic and overseas market.
