Recently formed by the merger of Svitzer and Crowley's Titan Salvage, Ardent aims to create a "premier global marine services network".

Subtech brings to the jv a strong presence on both the East and West coasts of Sub-Saharan Africa, from a headquarters in South Africa. The company is the area's primary Emergency Marine Casualty Responder.

Ardent and Subtech have experience working together on large projects already, including on the wreck removal of the MV SMART in Richard’s Bay and the emergency response salvage of the Vestas Wind off the coast of Mauritius.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be partnering with Ardent, a company with a global reputation for emergency response and wreck removal,” said Neil Scott Williams, director of Salvage at Subtech and the general manager of the jv.
