With history of over 80 years the partnership of Bentleys, Stokes and Lowless will cease with a team of 10 fee earners joining the shipping team at Ince.

Adrian Biles, ceo of the Ince Group, said: "We are delighted to announce that the Bentleys, Stokes and Lowless team will join our shipping team in London, which highlights our commitment to providing an unrivalled service in shipping and maritime law.”

With nearly 150 years of heritage as a maritime lawyer Ince merged with Gordon Dadds last year. In September last year Ince announced it was hiring leading shipping lawyer Julian Clark as a senior partner.

Paul Griffiths (pictured), senior partner at Bentleys Stokes and Lowless, said: “Ince is a stalwart of the shipping world and we look forward to providing counsel to its impressive global client list whilst continuing to service our clients. Ince provides first class levels of service and I have no doubt that this deal will only enhance what our clients can expect.”
