Farstad has inked a number of charter contracts amounting to NOK630m ($103m), including Statoil, Saipem, Exxon Mobil, Hunt Oil, Woodside, ConocoPhillips, PTTEP and Peterson Den Helder.

New contracts were given for Woodside on 4,000dwt PSV Far Starling, built in 2013, as well as an extension for 5,922 DWT, 2001-built, UT 755-design PSV Lady Grace.

Statoil has exercised a one-year option on 2009-built UT-751 design Far Serenade, a 5,944 dwt PSV; meanwhile Saipem declared their one year option for 2009-built CSV Far Samson, of the UT 761 CD design, with 32,640 bhp and a 250 t Crane; and Peterson Den Helder has fulfilled their option for 3,503 dwt PSV Far Splendour, built in 2003.

Further, contracts were extended by two years with ConocoPhillips for 2003-built UT755 PSV Lady Melinda and 180 days with Exxon Mobil for 3,628 dwt PSV Far Swan, built in 2006.

After finalizing of the Hunt Oil contracts the Lady Astrid and the Lady Sandra will commence new 80-day contracts with PTTEP.
